University of the Surreal discussion Club

I’m excited to host a three-session discussion club to chat about University of the Surreal: Season One together in early 2027. Each gathering is an informal conversation about the story and what it brings up for you, whether that’s something in your own life, what it means to be human in surreal times, or the role of institutions in an uncertain world.

Session 1: Episodes 1–5 (about an hour of listening)
Session 2: Episodes 6–7 (about an hour)
Session 3: Episodes 8–10 (about an hour)

There’s no need to prepare beyond listening to the episodes or reading the transcripts. The sessions follow the story in order, so plan to join all three if you can. If you miss a session, you’ll receive a recording of my brief opening remarks. The rest of each session is discussion and won’t be recorded, to preserve confidentiality.

Sessions will start in late January or early February, on Zoom, 75 minutes each, one to two weeks apart, and are free to join. I’ll set the days/times based on the interest form and send them to the group by early January. Please sign up by 12/15 (and reach out if you see this later — there may still be room).
